Myanmar crown in Mekong Delta Region football

      
Myanmar youth football team clinched title with seven points in two wins and one draw in the Mekong Delta Region Friendship Sports Competitions held in Thailand from 12 to 14 September. In the last matches of the group, Myanmar crashed Vietnam 7-0, while Thailand beat Laos today. After the matches, Myanmar youth football team stood first with seven points in two wins and one draw of three matches and Thai youth team, second with two wins and one loss. Myanmar youth team secured champions twice in the Mekong delta Region Friendship Sports Competitions successively. Myanmar claimed titles in the U-21 football tournament 2007 and U-18 event in 2008.
