Grand Royal Challenge Cup 08 Myanmar 0:0 Bangladesh

The 3rd Grand Royal Challenge Cup was hold Tuesday evening 3:0 pm at Thu-Wunna Stadium. Both teams football players were greeted with the Chairman of Myanmar Olympic Committee, the Minister of Ministry of Sports, General Thura Aye Myint, the Embassador of Bangladesh, the Chairman of Myanmar Football Federation, U Zaw Zaw and the Managing Director of IBTC, U Aung Moe Kyaw. Aung Aung Oo(goal), Min Thu, Zaw Lin Htun, Khin Maung Lwin, Moe Win, Aung Myo Thant, Myo Min Htun, Yazar Win Thein, Pyaine Soe, Soe Myat Min and Yan Paine represent for Myanmar. After the match began, Myanmar missed the chance due to the parry of Bangladesh goalkeeper when Yan Pyaine kicked the ball. The best player for this match, Myo Min Htun helped to possess the ball Paine Soe but Bangladesh defenders cut out as corner ball. Myo Min Htun's effort lead to corner ball and Moe Win's kick was not strong for Bangladesh goalkeeper at 10 minutes. Aung Myo Thant kicked the missing free kick of strong cutting Soe Myat Min out at 19 minutes. At about 23 minutes, the goal kicked by Pine Soe with Yan Pine's help missed by goal post. Myo Min Htun get down to ball to Yan Pine and Yan Pine's headed was bad luck at 28 minutes, Myanmar leaded the most of time and at 39 minutes Bangladesh defender No 2 strongly cut Yazar Win Thein and Yan Pine's effort out. 11 minutes of the second half , Myo Min Htun slotted but it missed by the goal post. At 15 minutes, Soe Myat Min headed corner ball by Min Thu's effort. But it was only promising ball. Then Min Thu was replaced by Than Win Aung. At 25 minutes, there was a bad luck in the fact that Soe Myat Min headed with Han Win Aung's effort. At 28 minutes, Aung Kyaw Myo replaced for Myo Min Htun. And then at 35 minutes, Yazar Win Thein was replaced with Htun Htun Win. Aung Kyaw Myo had a yellow card because of kicking Bangladesh goalkeeper at 40 minutes. At the last minute, Htun Htun Win's effort just touched goal bar. Thus Myanmar missed the victory and 3 points. Tomorrow, in Group B, Vietnam and Malaysia will be met.
